Hi Scott -
We did Flattop today. Awesome hike.
You do need to be careful of the crowds, runners, dogs, etc. Check out this back shot of me, and notice the slightly red spot in the middle of my hair and the red sheen on my neck.

When I was coming off the top, someone kicked loose several fist- to bowling ball-sized rocks, and one of them wacked me right on the noggin before someone yelled “Heads Up!.” I soon felt a warm stream running down my head into my shirt. Maybe I’ll bring my bike helmet next time

Beautiful shot. Sorry for the unfortunate occurrance of your injury. Don’t know what the other person was thinking when they threw that rock. I leave for Alaska Friday morning. Will be staying in Girwood. Hope Flat Top Mtn. is not far because this looks like a must-see.
