Enjoyed the show, even tho I’m not a big fan of R & B, your selections weren’t too bad!
I was really interested in the whole AK Tribal Council thing and the possibility of AK being purchased illegally by the US. Wow! If the tribal council wins at the UN, its hard to imagine the consequences and the changes that would occur. I definately agree with you that you are an Alaskan Native since your family was there prior to AK statehood. Is there anything that specifcally states that a “native” is of Indian descent? Very interesting stuff….keep us posted with what happens!

Yet another great show!! Your comments on the future of Alaska if it was purchased illegally are very thought-provoking, Scott!!
all the best to you,

Thanks for the replies! Yes, the Alaska sale is interesting… listen to Show 71 for more on that. As for the R&B
You know it’s not a favorite to my wife either and she just wrinkled her nose… But, I like it all, but I’m also selective. Mixing it up as always though…

Hi Scott,
Have you checked out the Tartan Podcast - one of Scotland’s top podshows, produced by Mark Hunter in Glasgow. His website may be of help in getting more contact with podsafe Scottish bands. It is at:
http://www.tartanpodcast.com/
I have been listening to it for many months now, and Mark plays some simply superb music, all Scottish.

Hi Scott,
On petrol costs (sorry, gasoline costs), in Greece a gallon of gasoline costs US$6.08 (4.90 euros) - and the average **monthly** wage in Greece is US$870. In the UK, it is even more expensive, about US$8.12 a gallon, but at least there the average income is about three-and-a-half times higher than here in Greece.
Maybe that will make you feel a little better about gasoline costs in Alaska…!!! I am lucky in that I work from home (self-employed language teacher), and I have seen periods of up to three and a half months between refills for my car, but others are less lucky…
